- Two Play:1 speakers configured together so one plays the left channel and the other plays the right channel, producing true left-right stereo separation and a wider soundstage.
- Multi-room audio
- The ability to play the same or different audio in multiple rooms by grouping this Play:1 with other Sonos speakers over your home WiFi and controlling them from the Sonos app.
- AC mains
- Standard household mains power (the wall outlet) that the Play:1 must be plugged into to operate, since it has no built-in battery.
- Active amplification
- A built-in amplifier inside the Play:1 that powers its drivers so you don't need an external amplifier or receiver to make it loud.
- Sound Pressure Level (SPL)
- A measure in decibels (dB) of how loud the Play:1 can get at a given distance, used to estimate room-filling loudness for listening.
- Sonos Bridge
